In the rare event that a Guest causes property damage, the Zipvacation Host Guarantee offers protection up to $1 million for covered property that is damaged by guest vandalism or theft.
Countries in which Hosts are currently eligible for this coverage are: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Greece, France, Germany, Italy, and Puerto Rico. In Portugal and Spain, Hosts are eligible for coverage up to $50,000 due to Guest damages.

We recommend that during rental periods, Hosts remove or secure any valuables left on the property.
The Host Guarantee Program also does not cover wear and tear that leads to property damage or loss. We recommend that Hosts require a security deposit from Guests to cover such incidents.
Please note that this program is not insurance, and cannot replace renters or homeowners insurance for your property. Keep in mind that not all home insurance policies will cover Guest damages or loss of property, and be sure to review the terms of your existing insurance policy carefully.
